      Theresa Leininger-Miller says:

“Hello! As an art historian at the University of Cincinnati, I work mostly on African American fine art. Currently, I am curating an exhibition, “”That International Rag:” Global Identities in Illustrated Sheet Music, 1898-1948,” at Auburn U (AL) this spring. I also am writing a presentation on African American illustrator, Albert Alex[ander] Smith for a conference this spring and have located 7 of his designs. Please contact me if you know of more. Additionally, I’ve published several essays on this genre, for instance, on African American soldiers in WWI, and comic songs about honey bees and bumble bees. Should anyone wish a pdf of any of these publications, feel free to contact me at theresa.leininger@uc.edu. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.”
