Fred recently posted an interesting video on the site on AI and singing apps. So I started looking for some plugins that I might be able to use. I found this interesting voice software called Emvoice. I spend a few hours learning this amazing voice plugin for daws.

After buying singer Jay for $59,-. There are also two female singers called Keela and Lucy respectively $69 and $59 each that sing in a higher range. And there is a vocoder voice called Thomas, but I don’t really see any use in him for Sheet music singer.
It is offcourse also possible to layer the voices so you can make interesting harmonies like Vancha does.

I choose the last song Fred send me last week and that Laurence sang beautifully, ‘I never had a sweetheart like you’ And just by loading the voice part as a vocal midi part into Ableton live togehter with the piano part i was able to just put in the words in the plugin under the midi notes.
I did the first verse and the chorus. After that you’ll here la la la. That is the default word the program uses. The result is not bad at all. There are even some more features like vibrato and other stuf that I didn’t even use.

I exported it as a mp3 file which I send to Fred.

Maybe Fred can upload it somewhere. I would like to know what you thinks of this devellopement. And what uses it could have for us.

      Greetings Gerd
